Trail-born hockey player collapses before game

An American Hockey League game Saturday between the Manitoba Moose and the Tucson Roadrunners was postponed after a player suffered a medical emergency before the game.

Roadrunners captain and Trail-born Craig Cunningham collapsed after allegedly suffering a siezure.

He was taken to a hospital in Tucson.

Cunningham played his junior hockey with the Beaver Valley Nitehawks before moving on to the Vancouver Giants.
