Changes to Transport Canada’s design standards were key in allowing lower landings at Trail’s airport.
JetPro Consultations president Ed McDonald says the changes allowed them to further use GPS technology to accomodate new landing limits.
Mcdonald says JetPro tried to solve the airport’s reliability issues in 2004.
The new landing limits take effect January 5.
