Rossland’s Lions Club wants to turn an old growth forest into an educational attraction.
President Bill Profili says the area has some resilient vegetation.
The Lions Club hopes to have a trail installed for foot traffic only.
There are also plans to add signage to help educate people about the unique forest.
Profili says they aren’t releasing its location until the area is ready for the public.
