It appears a cooking mishap was to blame for a fire in Castlegar yesterday.
Fire chief Gerry Rempel says the incident is under investigation.
There is extensive damage to the multi-suite dwelling.
It’s estimated at $275,000.
He says tenants likely wont be returning to the building anytime soon.
