Castlegar Chamber of Commerce sets sights on new building

The Castlegar Chamber of Commerce has unveiled conceptual designs for a new building.

Executive director Tammy Verigin-Burk says it will have the capacity to incorporate partners such as Community Futures, Destination Castlegar and the Visitor Centre.

The chamber is applying for $100,000 in rural dividend funding to help pay for the project.

It’s estimated to cost $1.5 million and would be on the same site as the existing building.
