The deadline to become part of the new Central Kootenay Food Policy Council has been extended.
Project co-ordinator Abra Brynne says you now have until Monday to submit your application.
They’ve already heard from about 20 people.
The food council is expected to have 26 seats.
It’s intended to address challenges facing local food systems.
