Castlegar approves airport reliability study

The City of Castlegar has commitments for $170,000 towards a study to help airport reliability.

The Columbia Basin Trust is willing to put up $150,000 and Areas I and J are down for $10,000 each.

Mayor Lawrence Chernoff is still beating the bushes for another $100,000.

Council gave the study the go ahead last night.

They’ll commission Jeppeson Aviation to come up with a solution to help flights depart from Castlegar.
