Seniors Advocate to visit Castlegar

BC’s new Seniors Advocate is coming to Castlegar next week as part of her BC tour.
The Castlegar Seniors Association will host Isobel Mackenzie for a town hall type meeting.
President Mac Gregory says local seniors face specific challenges and will have questions for her.
Gregory says that driving test for the over-80’s now has to be done in Nelson and only in the instructor’s car .. .And the cognitive ability test is sometimes done under duress.
The meeting with the Seniors Advocate is at the Castlegar Complex Friday the 20th at 10 am.
