Castlegar all-candidates meeting set for tonight

Castlegar residents get a chance to hear from all four contenders for city council tonight.

An all-candidates forum is being held at the rec complex from 7 until 9 p.m.

Chamber of Commerce executive director Tammy Verigin-Burk says they’ll accept written questions only.

Verigin-Burk says it allows for many more questions and maximizes the time candidates get to speak.

The by-election is Oct. 29.

The candidates are Arry Dhillon, Cherryl MacLeod, Tyler Maddocks, and Janna Sylvest.
