Trail city council is looking towards the opening of the Columbia River Skywalk.
Today they will likely decide a soft opening and a grand opening for the new bridge.
A soft launch could happen in mid December while the grand opening is being considered for next year’s Silver City Days festival.
The soft launch would include a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Planned for the grand opening is a celebration including a plaque unveiling, music and a light show on the Victoria Street bridge.
The bridge is the largest capital project ever devlivered by the City of Trail.
