The City of Castlegar will take remedial action against the owner of the property at 1067 Columbia Avenue.
The city has dealt with a number of bylaw infractions with regards to the property since 1998.
The owner was required to bring the building up to code by September 30 but that hasn’t happened.
The building will be torn down.
