Castlegar’s Sunfest was a hit this year and work is already beginning on next year’s edition.
Festival society president Nicole Beetstra says next year’s event will be bigger to coincide with its 50th anniversary.
Beetstra says they’re working to raise funds for the event.
She adds Kinsmen Park is the best location for it and plans to move the event to millennium are off the table for now.
