The Slocan Valley Outriders Association arena is getting a makeover.
President Carla Card says thanks to several grants people of all ages can enjoy riding horses.
The grants are from heritage credit union, the RDCK, Columbia Basin Trust and the Horse Council of BC.
Card says the riding arena will now have new, safe metal panels for the multi-disciplinary riding facility.
The goal this fall is to get the panels to the ground and set them up.
