The president of the BCHL’s Trail Smoke Eaters says a potential sale of the team is good news.
Tom Gawryletz says the deal would essentially be a cash injection for the team.
The non profit society which currently owns it would still have a 10%t share.
Gawryletz says it’s important that the Smokies remain a vital part of the community.
The potential buyer is expected to be revealed at a meeting next week.
