A candidate in the upcoming Castlegar by election isn’t a fan of the recently implemented parcel tax.
Tyler Maddocks says a number of people he’s spoken with share his sentiments regarding the levy.
He adds he’d like better support systems for those in need such as drug addiction services.
Maddocks is born and raised in Castlegar and is vying for a spot on council for the fourth time.
The by election goes October 29.
