A suspension for the head coach of the KIJHL’s Castlegar Rebels was warranted.
Team president Mike Johnston says they looked into it.
Head coach Bill Rotheisler is out 45 days for tampering.
He isn’t allowed contact with the team an hour before or after a game while the ban is in effect but can still run practices.
Johnston says a number of coaches from the area have offered to help while Rotheisler is unavailable.
