Rebels win 2 without coach, Hawks win one and lose one

In the KIJHL over the weekend the Castlegar Rebels scored two big wins including a 3-2 decision at home against the Nelson Leafs Saturday.

The Rebels were without head coach Bill Rotheisler who is serving a 45 day suspension for tampering.

The Nelson Leafs did manage to get a 5-4 win at home over the Spokane Braves the night before.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks were one and one on the weekend after Saturday’s 5-3 win over the Braves in Spokane.

In Invermere Friday the Grand Forks Border Bruins smashed the Columbia Valley Rockies 7-1 but lost the next night against the Rockets in Golden 2-1.
