Volunteers upset with call for professional lighting planner

Some of the volunteer group who’ve installed the Christmas lights on Baker Street the last two years aren’t happy things are possibly coming to a halt.
City Councillor Bob Adams – who is a volunteer – isn’t happy with the call for a professional lighting planner to review the plans before any more special fund money is released.
The City wants to ensure the decorations look right and are in keeping with future changes coming to the downtown.
Adams says the group was ticked off to hear their efforts were described as piece meal and not holistic enough.
