The manager of Trail’s Visitor Centre says they have taken on inititives to attract more visitors.
Shannon McIlmoyle says there has been 621 visitors in August alone.
There were 425 over the same period last year.
She says tours of the Teck Trail facility which are arranged through the centre have also been a big draw.
