Slocan fair to celebrate Expo Park anniversary

Slocan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Expo Park on Saturday with a family fair.

Organizer Karen Davis says they’ll unveil a plaque in honour of a man instrumental in the park’s creation.

Saturday’s events include a parade, children’s carnival, vintage car show, and artisan’s market.

Funds raised will go toward the village’s parks.
