Recent cougar sightings in Montrose and Rossland are prompting a reminder from Wildsafe BC.
If you see them, report them.
Wildsafe’s Desiree Profili says sightings in late summer to early fall aren’t uncommon.
She says you should manage attractants in your yard that lure smaller animals as cougars prey on them.
