Biker injured on Seven Summits Trail

A weekend rescue in Rossland.

Crews from Castlegar and South Columbia Search And Rescue responded to a call yesterday regarding a biker who crashed on the Seven Summits Trail.

South Columbia SAR President Mike Hudson says getting to the injured biker was easy but removing him was a challenge.

After about seven hours he was placed in an ambulance.

He suffered a fractured pelvis plus some cuts and scrapes.
