Castlegar Fire Department kept busy Sunday, Monday

The Castlegar Fire Department was kept busy from Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.

Cheif Gerry Rempel says crews responded to four separate blazes starting around 5:45pm.

The Ootischenia Department assisted with the fire near the airport.

Just after 1:00am Monday a fire started near Interfor.

Crews were assisted by the Robson Department.

And around 7:00am crews responded to an out of control campfire near the mouth of Blueberry Creek.

No structures were damaged in any of these instances.
