Construction on the new Catholic Church in Castlegar is now targeted to begin late summer or early fall.
It will be built on the same site as the old St. Rita’s which an arsonist burned down more than a year ago.
Father David John says it will be about the same square footage but look a bit different.
Since the fire the congregation has been meeting in the Church Hall next door.
