The owners of a Castlegar building torn down after a fire in May feel there’s a communication breakdown.
Connie Vecchio says her father’s old printing shop on 2nd Street was torn down without her consent the same day as the fire.
She says talking with the city has been challenging.
Debris containing asbestos remains on site and the city is giving until September 30 for it to be removed.
