The City Of Castlegar has begun preperations for the upcoming by-election to fill a vacancy on city council.
Director Of Corporate Services Tracey Butler has been appointed as Chief Election Officer.
Nicole Brown and Carolyn Rempel are deputy election officers.
The nomination period is from September 13- 23, candidates will be announced September 24.
The by-election will be held October 29.
