A retaining wall replacement on Highway 3B in Rossland is underway in the Miners Hall and Columbia Upper Avenue area.
The existing wall has come to the end of it’s life cycle.
A contract for $2.2 million to complete the job was recently awarded to Copcan Civil.
They’ll replace the arterial retaining wall with a new cast-in-place concrete structure.
Expect delays while driving through the area as other projects are underway in the city.
The wall replacement is scheduled to be finished by October.
