Missing man’s body found by hikers

A pair of hikers found the body of a Quebec man Sunday in the Halfway River near Nakusp.

Barb McLintock with the BC Coroners Service says he was found around the area where he went missing.

Nineteen-year-old Zacharie Blouin had been missing since July 28th.

He left his group to go fishing.

McLintock says it’s not clear how he got into the water, but it’s under investigation.
