A former Trail Smoke-Eater is now a full-time linesman in the NHL.
Brandon Gawryletz is excited to join the officiating team.
Last season he split games between the NHL and the American Hockey League.
He also has officiating experience in the ECHL and the Central Hockey League.
Gawrletz had two stints with the Smokies in his junior hockey career.
