Watermains in Waneta will be flushed with chlorinated water tomorrow.
While this is ongoing there will be a strong chlorine odour in the water.
The smell will go away as the chemical is flushed from the system.
This operation is necessary for the city to maintain it’s standard of water.
The flushing process begins at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
