Heritage sites in Castlegar will be quite a bit more noticeable next year.

She plans to have six matryoshka nesting dolls situated at various sites to promote a heritage tour in the city.
They’ll range in height from eight to 15 feet.
Ryman says she did plenty of research with the local Doukhobor community and anticipates this will be a huge draw for them.
She wants the dolls to reflect their history.
She hopes to have them on display next spring.
