Bail hearing for teen accused in school incident

A teen accused of making a threat at Mount Sentinel School in South Slocan was in court for a bail hearing Wednesday.

18-year old Denver Skey  has been charged with two counts of uttering threats in connection with an incident last week.

Details around the nature of the threat haven’t been released

But the school was evacuated and temporary closed.

The crown is reviewing the case and Skey could face further charges.

There is a publication ban on the evidence.

Mount Sentinel was reopened to students Wednesday for the first time since Friday for the last day of school.
