The City Of Trail will hire a Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of a new terminal building at the Trail Regional Airport.
Mayor Mike Martin says having this role in place can help expedite the project and maintain an appropriate level of control throughout the course planning and building phases.
He says it will be the same firm which is overseeing the Riverfront Centre Library-Museum project.
The city estimates the new terminal will cost $3 million, with nearly $1.2 million coming from the provincial government through it’s air access program.
