Where have Nelson's crosswalks gone?

A number of Nelson crosswalks are in need of a paint job because they can’t be easily identified.

Coming out of winter the markings on many crossings in the Queen City are faded or almost completely gone.

Mayor John Dooley says they have a schedule of work that normally kicks in in June and busier areas are prioritized.


But Dooley concedes that for visiting motorists the faded state of some of the cross-walks make them a “challenge”.
