Trail mayor “ecstatic” about airport funding

The City Of Trail is one step closer to a new terminal building at the regional airport.

This as the province has announced $1.2 million to go towards improvements at the facility through the BC Air Access program.

Martin calls the announcement a stimulus for further economic growth in the region.

The new terminal should be finished next summer.

He adds it is the single largest funding arrangement in the province this year which he feels is recognition of the value the airport brings to the community.
