Selkirk College Board vacancies upcoming

There are some upcoming vacancies for Selkirk College’s Board Of Governors.

This from Chair Sharel Wallace.

Wallace says they are hoping for a candidate who is strong with accounting as well as somebody with IT and human resources knowledge.

The positions are appointed by the provincial government but suggestions for nominees are welcome.

Wallace says she would like to see somebody with strong ties to communities like Trail, Nakusp and Grand Forks fill these positions as those areas have been underserved on the board in the past.
