Wildflower parents want CEC kept open

A strong message from a group of Creston area residents at last night’s SD 8 school closure meeting.

The impassioned call was clear, “Our children can’t be moved from the Creston Education Centre to other schools”.

The centre hosts nine programs for children and teens including Wildflower.

PAC President and parent Becky Coons was among a handful of people who spoke.

She says a relocation would not support Wildflower’s learning style.


The Creston Ed Centre is facing possible closure as part of the district’s plan to save on long term maintenance costs.
