Woman charged following domestic incident

A Creston area woman is heading to court following an assault during a domestic dispute on June 8th.

RCMP say a male sustained minor injuries after she allegedly stabbed him in the head.

The woman is facing charges of assault with a weapon.

Her court date is unknown .

And RCMP are investigating a recent break in and theft at a home on Hillside Street in Creston.

Cash, a rifle and other weapons were reportedly stolen.

A suspect has been identified and is facing charges of break and enter and theft.
