Creston-Kootenay Foundation hands out grants

The Creston-Kootenay Foundation has awarded its 2016 grants.

Seven Creston-area organisations have received funding from the Creston-Kootenay foundation.

Riondel Parks and Rec Society, Creston Valley Rotary, Canyon Community Society and Wildsite each picked up a grant.

Treasurer Ted Hutchinson says this year’s group of applicants was diverse.


Hutchinson says the focus areas include quality of life, the environment and healthy living.

Spectrum Farms, Creston Seniors Association and Creston  Museum and Archives also saw funding.
