Public Washroom to built in downtown Creston

A public washroom is being built in downtown Creston this summer.

The town is in the final stages of an agreement to dispose of the land and building at 1130 Canyon Street.

Town Manager Lou Varela says the property was obtained in a 2014 tax sale and the building is in disrepair.

Varela says staff are finalising things with a Creston area contractor.


The washroom will have one single stall and a handi-capable/family stall.
