Moving ferry terminal will benefit east shore residents

A call for more formal input from the East Shore of Kootenay Lake into the proposed relocation of the Balfour Ferry terminal.

This following the announcement of a public open house next week at a school near Nelson.

Longtime Gray Creek resident, Tom Lymbery says East Shore residents would be the most affected.


Lymbery supports moving it to a new location away from the West Arm.

He says this would shorten the trip and allow hourly sailings.
