Funding to promote smaller regional community investment

A three year funding from the Columbia Basin Trust will give the smaller guys a leg up regarding economic development.

They’re putting $275,000 into Invest Kootenay – the wider regional initiative to get people to invest here.

Here’s Co-Chair Garry Jackman:


The Invest Kootenay website shows the world what businesses are for sale or what opportunities exist.

Jackman says the funding also helps pay for the one-on-one dedicated service a potential investor gets once they make that initial contact.
