The Community Energy Association wants to make it easier to drive electric cars in the Kootenays.
Trish Dehnel says they’re calling for another 52 charging stations.
It would cost about $800,000 but Dehnel says they have many partners including utility companies.
Right now she says there are places in our area where it’s nearly impossible to drive an electric car.
