The Nelson Neptunes summer swim club is gearing up for the 2016 season which starts in a few weeks.
Vice-president Kathy Centrone says the reno’s at Nelson’s Aquatic Centre means the club will be doing a fair share of travelling.
The event in Salmo is expected to draw hundreds of participants and spectators.
The Neptunes hope a season ripe with travelling will entice some new enrollments. Centrone says there is still plenty of room for registration.
