Paris Marshall smith of Riondel has been hired as Coordinator for Fields Forward.
She has been working in food security at the Ashram on Kootenay Lake for the past five years.
Marshall Smith also has two related master degrees, and extensive education in urban agriculture.
The Fields Forward program is a partnership between businesses, groups, individuals and local government to boost the Creston’s agri-food sector.
