School District 8 is dealing with uncharted territory with Yahk Elementary.
A projected enrolment of zero students at the k to five school this fall has the board looking at options.
Chair, Lenora Trenaman says this includes a temporary closure.
Trenaman says this scenario would see any incoming transfers or registrations directed to Canyon-Lister Elementary.
Declining enrolment at Yahk Elementary has been an ongoing issue.
