Dove Hill trail expansion open house tonight

Public feedback and input is encouraged for the proposed expansion of the Dove Hill trail network near Castlegar.

Residents will get a chance for that at an open house tonight at the recreation complex.

It starts at 7:00pm.

Here’s David Hall who is Vice President of the Castlegar Friends Of Parks And Trails Society.

Hall says the biggest controversy will be regarding the welfare of the area’s ecosystem.

He says the planned paths links to the existing trail system and is near a golf course so he doesn’t anticipate it having too much of an impact.
