Group wants more RDCK involvement in outdoor rec space development

A Creston recreation group wants the Regional District to focus more on outdoor rec spaces.

The Creston Valley Trails Society says it’s time for action.

And President, Mary Jayne Blackmore is calling on local RDCK Area Directors and the mayor for a commitment.

Blackmore says a 2006 RDCK Rec Master Plan that includes parks and trails management has virtually been abandoned.

The society is looking to have it implemented.
