A couple of upcoming brainstorming sessions will focus on the creation of a Waldorf school in Creston.
Angela Prettie, a Kelowna Waldorf teacher is the driving force behind the plan.
She says the goal is a private school but that hinges on what the community wants.
Prettie says she doesn’t want to compete with any existing programs but instead offer another alternative.
Waldorf schools offer a holistic approach to education, similar to the Wildflower program currently offered to SDÂ 8 students.
