The Trails for Creston Valley Society has asked the town to partner in its latest project.
Plans call for the construction of a gravel footpath linking Devon Street to 16th Avenue.
Mayor Ron Toyota says council fully supports the concept.
The society is applying for CBTÂ funding and has asked the town to help with public consultation and to donate the gravel “in kind”.
Council’s decision hinges on pending cost estimates for the gravel.
